Enchanted Song

Her voice calls to them across the waves,

Beckoning them nearer to ease.

Singing for her one true love,

This temptress of the seas.



In vain they try to ignore her song,

To not think of her golden voice.

Yet she calls them one and all,

Leaving sailors no choice.



They shipwreck upon those hateful rocks,

As away fades their last breath.

She seeks only her soul mate,

Yet summons only death.
