Helénē Helen of Troy the daughter of Zeus and Leda (or Nemesis), wife of King Menelaus of Sparta. Her abduction by Paris brought about the Trojan War. Helen was described by Christopher Marlowe as having "the face that launched a thousand ships." *Close-up found here: [link] *************************************************** You will probably see a lot of art from me this summer. I have the summer off and find it brings me a small amount of peace to lose myself in painting. ************************************************** Tools used: Wacom Intuous3 PSP12 Coffee *I experimented a lot with textures I made. I still need a lot of work on hair. I find myself mostly mouse painting it with some strands added with my tablet. The effect isn't as nice as I would like. I'm so detail oriented that it drives me crazy. Any suggestions would be wonderful. ********************************************** Credits: Beautiful model is from *Chonastock and can be found here: [link] IMPORTANT © COPYRIGHT NOTICE The work contained in my gallery is copyright ©Tammara Markegard.
