Timber Song

His song was ancient and pure. The song of the wind and that of the moon.

The spirit of the Wolf resides in my heart
Mostly peacefully, yet ever wild
Running in time to the blowing wind
Dancing in the clouds that drift in the Heavens.

I did this piece years and years ago. My kids were young and I had no money to buy art supplies. I had four colored pencils (Two were so short that I gave myself blisters on my middle finger trying to hold them) and an odd shaped piece of art paper someone gave me. It's not very good but I thought it showed tenacity for my art. The limited pallet makes me cringe and smile at the same time. I'm sure I will move this to scraps later but wanted to show you. Maybe I'll repaint this sometime. I just got this back from a friend who scanned it for me. It is so large that he had to scan it in 5 different pieces, that I had to reassemble.
