Morning glory

Another traditional piece I had scanned a while back. This was one of the drawings I did for a little book I made for my daughter. It was about a little ladybug with no spots and she went into the garden looking for something else she could be because she was tired of being different from the other ladybugs. She visited a duck, frog, bunny, mouse, bees, dragonfly, turtle and humming bird. Until she discovered at the end that she was unique because she was different and should be proud of the fact. My daughter was trying so hard to fit in with the other kids at school that I wanted her to see that being unique was wonderful.

Jeremiah would take the kids and play with them on the playground toys while I sat in the car and drew the pictures for her book so I could surprise her.
